Doctor-turned-artist is shy but eager to share her work with Marshfield – Marshfield News

MARSHFIELD – Ines Krolo never really thought of herself as an artist. She more or less painted as a hobby. She completed medical school in Croatia to be a doctor, but her passion lied elsewhere.

Things changed when a friend took Krolo’s painting to a Fun d’ Arts fundraiser at New Visions Gallery in Marshfield. 

“The fact that someone was actually willing to pay quite a bit of money was shocking and wakening to me,” she wrote in an email to USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin.

Krolo, through Friday, has her work featured in an exhibit called “Captured Moments” in Chestnut Center for the Arts, 208 S. Chestnut Ave., in Marshfield.
