Exhibit at Stable goes from realism to abstraction

“As I became more aware that a good representational painting is based on a good abstract design, that led to me becoming more interested in abstract design itself,” said award-winning artist Janis Foley of Ridgewood. “It’s going from perspective to depth, to flat shapes on a two-dimensional plain.”
