IMPRESSIONIST PAINTING WORKSHOP TO BE HELD IN CLAUDE MONET’S …

Art Colony Giverny will hold a seven day painting workshop in Master Impressionist painter Claude Monet’s garden in Giverny, France from September 4th to the 11th. Led by artist Caroline Homes Nuckolls, painters and photographers will be taking art lessons in the picturesque village that was home to Monet. True to its history as an art colony for more than one hundred years, Giverny remains a destination for artists from the world over, coming to paint in the same locales and venues as the great masters of Impressionism.

This annual program, led by Nuckolls, is designed for artists and photographers of all skill levels. Days will end by painting in Monet’s picturesque garden en plain air. Through this onsite experience, participants will gain a greater understand of Monet’s fascination for water and light, and the changing conditions of the sky due to time of day. In addition,
