Impressionist and post-Impressionist masterpieces from London’s Courtauld Gallery will go on show at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris next spring—their first return to France in more than 60 years. The Courtauld Collection: a Vision for Impressionism (20 February-17 June 2019) is the latest in a series of shows at the private museum to pay tribute to “enlightened philanthropists” who supported Modern art, says the foundation’s artistic director, Suzanne Pagé.
