Mollie Jones watercolor exhibit on display at NTCC

The Northeast Texas Community College Art Department will host its second art exhibit of the 2017-2018 school year October 2- 27 in the foyer of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. The show, “Crystal Glass”, will feature watercolors by artist Mollie Jones. A reception with the artist will be held Thursday, October 5 at 12:30 p.m. in the Whatley Center foyer. Refreshments will be served.

Jones is a nationally recognized award-winning watercolorist and workshop teacher who works exclusively in transparent watercolor.  A self-taught artist, she enjoys a passion for painting crystal, glass, silver, and anything reflective in nature.  She lives and works in a red barn south of Tyler, Texas and shares her farm with her husband, a diva cat, chickens, and an abundance of flower gardens.
