‘Monet. Beyond Impressionism’ at Ordrupgaard, Charlottenlund

Ordrupgaard Museum in Charlottenlund, Denmark presents “Monet. Beyond Impressionism” that will be on view through December 4, 2016.

The exhibition showcases a collection of timeless paintings from the World’s most famous artist Claude Monet (1840-1926). The event offers a unique opportunity for Danish audience to experience Monet’s legendary images, which till now, have been seen only in the prominent museums of major art cities such as Paris, New York and London. The iconic paintings including haystacks, London’s bridges and the cathedral of Rouen reveal the artist’s journey of evolution from Impressionism towards Modern art.

The exhibition is the Nordic region’s largest presentation of Monet’s work that ranges from landscape paintings from the Seine Valley
