The young fashion stylist whose appalling cancer case shocked MPs still has not been told if she will get life-saving treatment.
Tory Health Minister Anna Soubry promised 23-year-old Nadejah Williams she would look into her situation as a matter of urgency.
But her mum Michelle said yesterday she had not heard a thing and claimed: “I’ve been lied to.”
It is a month since the Mirror first highlighted the case of Nadejah, who is the face of the Teenage Cancer Trust. Funding for radical CyberKnife treatment has been refused despite Nadejah’s consultants calling for it to be carried out.
Michelle, 45, a cancer nurse, met Ms Soubry at the Commons to discuss her daughter’s plight.
But yesterday she said: “This is a disgrace. Anna Soubry promised to look into this as a matter of urgency. I have heard nothing. Nothing at all.
