OCONEE LANDSCAPES: Paintings by Robert Clements

Robert Clements’ paintings are representations of the diversity of landscapes found in Oconee County. Utilizing his experience in Plein-aire painting, he extrapolates and depicts scenes that most of us see every day but pass by without a thought to the beauty and amazing color that surrounds us. In one series from Woodson Montgomery’s fields of rye, he takes the viewer through the entire life cycle of the rye field from early green stalks to the cutting and bailing of the harvest. Robert Clements’ paintings capture the essence of living in Oconee County.
