Sotheby’s has lined up a blockbuster consignment for its fall evening sale of Impressionist and modern art in New York on November 4; Vincent van Gogh’s Still Life, Vase with Daisies and Poppies (1890), which carries a hefty $30–50 million estimate. Sotheby’s calls it “the most important still life by Van Gogh to appear at auction in more than two decades.”
