Variety of visual arts in Chandler Park

MACOMB — A mosaic of local art, book sellers and live music lined the avenues of Chandler Park on Saturday during the Gazebo Art Festival.
The artists displayed original art work including paintings, stained glass jewelry, photography and more.
Alene Reuschel of the Gazebo Arts Committee explained the significance of this event can have in a community.
“It’s a place for local artists, and we have some wonderful talent in the West Central Illinois area. Here is a venue for us to really understand and see that which we have here at home. So, we have local artists that are showing their works – this has been going on for over 47 years – and we think it’s extremely important to provide that.”
“In addition to that, we’re also providing scholarships for students for summer art camps; we’re taking that responsibility
