5 things you have to see at Mana Contemporary this weekend (PHOTOS)

Mana Contemporary can be a little overwhelming.

The Jersey City mega art complex is at least a million square feet and boasts artist studios, five floors of gallery space, a foundry, an outdoor sculpture garden and their newest space, the 50,000-square-foot Glass Gallery.

Their walls are a who’s who of the contemporary art world, making them functionally Hudson County’s largest modern art museum.

So if you’re going to their open house on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., you’re probably wondering — where do I start?

Here are must-see highlights from their current offerings on view:

SCULPTURES, SCULPTURES EVERYWHERE

All around the grounds and inside the lobby of Mana Contemporary are several large-scale sculptures which were showcased on International Sculpture Day on April 24. Make sure to see resident artist Carole Feuerman’s serene, oversized sculptures of swimmers — you won’t be able to believe they’re not real!

LET THEM EAT ART

Another treat for realism lovers
