Around Livermore: Photographer, painter’s body of work ever-expanding

I met Euan Rannachan in 2011, when I was planning my wedding. A mutual friend who knew I was looking for a photographer introduced us. At the time I had no idea what I was getting myself into, but it was easily one of the best decisions I made for that day — just short of choosing the groom.

Art is hereditary for Rannachan, who lives in Livermore. His mother was a fine artist in Italy who once sold a sculpture at Sotheby’s in London. His grandmother was an artist, too. Throughout childhood, Rannachan said he always had paintbrushes
