Just in time for the Eugene Opera’s production of “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street” on March 13 and 15, opera General Director Mark Beudert will team up with Bob Hart, executive director of the Lane County Historical Society, to host the this week’s First Friday ArtWalk in downtown Eugene.
More than a dozen businesses in the area will get into the “Sweeney Todd” spirit for the evening, serving up food, decorations and other tonsorial (barber) effects in the run-up to next week’s Stephen Sondheim opera.
Although many galleries and shops will be open to participate in the festivities, the official stops on the guided tour are:
