A gallery talk and reception with Schonzeit will be at 5 p.m. today at the Museum of Art — DeLand Downtown, 100 N. Woodland Blvd., DeLand. The reception is at 5 p.m. and the talk will be 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

The exhibit “Ben Schonzeit: Brilliant Realism” is on display in the downtown gallery through July 12.
Schonzeit will talk about the origins, evolution and iconography in his works, his inspiration and his life as an artist over the past 50 years in New York City.
