The former Keeper of the Royal Academy in London has a solo exhibition at the Ffin y Parc gallery in Llanrwst.
Professor Maurice Cockrill RA is drawn back to the place that always inspires him, North Wales.
The show entitled, Too Late for Flowers, will be on until the end of the month.
A retrospective of his work was held at the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool and at the Royal West of England Academy.
Maurice was elected to the Royal Academy in 1999 and from 2004-11 held the prestigious role of the Keeper of the Royal Academy of Art in London.
The artist lives and works in London but also has a studio in the Conwy Valley. In this solo exhibition Maurice explores the landscapes of North Wales.
