CORRECTED DATE: On Wednesday, May 8, the public is invited to attend a reception for painter Michael Petringa from 6-8 pm. in the lower level of the Milton Public Library, 476 Canton Avenue, Milton, MA 02186.
Throughout May, Mr. Petringa’s paintings will be exhibited in the Wotiz Gallery of the library. The reception is free and open to all. Refreshments will be served.
Mr. Petringa has mastered many mediums, such as abstraction, expressionism, figurative and landscape painting, all influenced from living in Europe for 15 years. Visit www.petringa.com and view his works throughout May at the Milton Library.
Michael Petringa, a resident of Braintree, MA, graduated from the New England School of Art and Design, Boston, and majored in advertising with a minor in painting. He worked in the art department of a major company for about 3 years, but then decided to move to Florence, Italy.
