GEORGE TOWN: DATUK Dr Tan Chee Khuan, 65, is a man of many talents. Though it was only in 2006 that he seriously took up painting, Tan’s output has been prodigious.

He often works on several pieces at the same time, on six to seven-hour stretches — after a doctor’s working hours, too.

His fifth solo exhibition, Heritage Buildings and Smartphone Addiction, will be held The Art Gallery, which he owns, in Bellisa Row in Pulau Tikus.

The exhibition will open after a preview of his artworks on Sunday, from 11am to 3pm The exhibition is then held until June 15.

Datuk Dr Tan Chee Khuan Retrospective 1963-2014 in hardcover, with 108 pages, will also be for sale at RM40.
