A new exhibit titled “From Mountains and Valleys” featuring works by landscape artist Victor A. Schiro will run from April 20 through June 16 at the Conejo Valley Art Museum, Ste. 193C at Janss Marketplace, Hillcrest Drive and Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks.
Museum hours are from noon to 5 p. m. Wednesday through Sunday.
Schiro was born in 1946 in Glendale and grew up in the north San Fernando Valley, which at the time was rural and undeveloped. Since childhood, Schiro was serious about painting the varied landscapes of Southern California, the eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains and the Owens Valley.
