Former Derby County player Nigel Callaghan speaks candidly about his battle with cancer.
THE mental effects of having cancer never leave you, says 51-year-old ex-Rams winger Nigel Callaghan.
It has been more than four years since Nigel was diagnosed with bowel cancer and only months later he was told it had spread to his liver.
Following two operations and chemotherapy treatment, the ex-footballer made a good recovery and so far all his tests have been clear.
But the regular check-ups take their toll.
