Landscape impressions and women’s expressions on display: French Consulate

JEDDAH – What do you do when you want to show your latest paintings but do not have enough new works to fill the gallery space? You either bring along your old works, or you ask another painter colleague to join you. Egyptian artist Ghada El-Naggar chose the latter in her latest exhibition, currently on display at the French Consulate in Jeddah.

Her friend and painter Idris Al-Daw, who hails from Sudan and whom El-Naggar met at the Culture and Art Association in Jeddah, was more than happy to have his large paintings of predominantly landscapes exhibited at the consulate’s premises.
