Landscapes at the Lunenburg Peer Gallery

Nova Scotia artist Bob Hainstock will be exhibiting his new work, “Higher, Darker, Bigger,” at the Peer Gallery in Lunenburg.

“The artist’s favourite times of day have become those darker meeting places between night time and first or last light – periods of uncertainty in colour, shape and the human psyche,” said a press release.

The work is made up of mixed media pieces as part of Mr. Hainstock’s long-running series “New Landscapes.”

Mr. Hainstock is a graduate of the Nova Scotia College of Art Design. His studio is in the Annapolis Valley, and the area inspired the art in his latest collection.

The exhibition runs May 24 to June 4.
