Paul and Deborah Wenzel art exhibit: ENMU-Ruidoso, 709 Mechem Drive. Deborah Wenzel teaches art in the Ruidoso elementary schools. Her painting style ranges from realism to cubo-expressionism. Paul Wenzel is a scrimshaw and folk artist. He is well-versed in the history of the fur trade era and uses many of the original materials such as porcupine quills, natural dyes, deer sinew and brain-tanned hides to make functional and decorative pieces. The exhibit is free and open to the public during business hours. There will be a reception April 23 from 6 to 7 p.m. where the artists will discuss their work. Light refreshments will be served.
