Bust out those calendars: There’s a new crop of art exhibits and events not to be missed.
Here’s what I found in my inbox today:
SENIOR ART EXHIBIT ON DISPLAY AT WEIZENBLATT GALLERY
Mars Hill College’s Weizenblatt Gallery will feature a collection of artwork in various media by five senior student artists, from April 17 through May 3.
There will be an opening reception for the exhibit on April 17 from 6 until 7 pm.
Artists featured in the exhibit are: Olivia Buckner, Joel Dempsey, Emma Hoffman, Kristen Landers, and James “Jamie” Raezer.
Olivia Buckner is an art education major from Mars Hill, NC. Her work, called “Body as Canvas,” features photography of painted models.
