Opening Thursday: Surreal Landscapes at Gallery Black Lagoon

gbl_surreallandscapes.jpg Inspired by the end of the year, or perhaps the end of the world, Surreal Landscapes at Gallery Black Lagoon features an exhibition of landscapes – “actual or fancied, dreams or reminiscences, past or future- present scenarios, artifacts of space and time.” The group show includes new works by Cari Palazzolo, Ryan Davis, William Cardini, Kevin Dehan, Jess Bee, Christa Palazzolo, Cristina Vasquez Angie Steding. Surreal Landscapes opens Thursday night with music by Mira Cook and Cari Palazzolo and craft brew by Circle Brewing Co. and runs through January 13th. We caught up with curator Cari Palazzolo to learn more about the show.

What specifically inspired you to choose this theme?
