PAC to host artist workshops

PIQUA — In an effort to continue expanding their offerings, Piqua Arts Council is announcing the addition of professional workshops for artists. The organization will host two workshops each year, one in the spring and another in the fall.

“We know that professional development is important in every field and we want to take up the mantle in the area and offer workshops with the best artists and teachers we can,” said PAC Executive Director Jordan Knepper.

The first offering will be a four-day watercolor workshop with Christopher Leeper of Canfield, a realist painter working in all mediums. His award-winning work has been shown in solo and juried exhibitions through the country and he has been featured in several magazines and books including, Realism in Watermedia, The Artist’s Magazine and Watercolor Magic.
