We were on the second long day of ice storm coverage when
Nola.com | The Times-Picayune photographer David Grunfeld shot
this beautiful still life out in the Big Branch National Wildlife Refuge near
Lacombe, La. After chasing sleet and ice and shooting road closures and
openings and staying generally cold and wet for most of the period, it was
great to see this simple, quiet still life in the mix of images. Sometimes
variety really is the spice of life, and also the proper seasoning for a great
photo gallery!
Here are all of our ice
storm images from Wednesday.
