The Seattle Art Museum will have an exhibit of works of some of the masters of Impressionism and Post-Impressionism this fall.
Tickets for the exhibit of 71 paintings will go on sale July 15.
The exhibit, Intimate Impressionism, will be from Oct. 1, 2015, to Jan. 10, 2016. The paintings are from the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C The works are from such 19th-century painters such as Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Paul Cézanne, Edgar Degas and Vincent van Gogh.
The museum is encouraging patrons to buy tickets in advance. You can do so at any of the main museum, the Asian Art Museum and the Olympic Sculpture Park or over the telephone at 206-654-3121. On July 15, the museum is also offering discounted tickets bought online at its website
