Students, staff and members of the public supported Temple Academy 7th grade student Becca Leavitt by having stylists shave, sculpt and bead their hair at the Waterville school on Monday. According to a teacher, many of the 186 students participated and all money raised goes to the Leavitt family for expenses for Becca who is being treated for Hodgkins lymphoma. Asked how she felt about the effort, Becca said she was grateful for the support. “We feel loved,” added her mother Debbie Leavitt.
