The video “Still Life,” which shows a decomposing platter of fruit next to a plastic pen, is one of the buzzier new pieces at the Museum of Fine Arts. The work has been shown at the MFA before, but it’s been getting extra attention since its installation last week, probably because it’s by Sam Taylor-Johnson, best known these days for directing “Fifty Shades of Grey.” Taylor’s piece is from 2001, just a few years after she won the Illy Café Prize for most promising young artist at the Venice Biennale. . . .
