Students’ work among those displayed at Woodland’s First Friday Art Walk

The creative potential of students from Woodland, Davis and Esparto will be placed front and center in downtown Woodland at First Friday Art Walk. The some 100 photographs, sculptures, and paintings of students in elementary, middle and high school will be exhibited in a variety of locations, and punctuated by a musical performance featuring students from a Woodland studio.

First Friday visitors may want to begin the Art Walk in the courtyard of 714 Main St., (behind Steve’s Pizza) where students of Woodland’s Musictown Studio will be singing and performing on drums, guitar, piano and ukulele beginning at 6 p.m. Under the direction of Jason Squires, these students will be showcasing their talents in individual and group performances.

In recognition of May being “Bike Month,” bike riders to the Art Walk can take advantage of valet bike parking available at the Steve’s Pizza courtyard
