Comic Book Exhibit — Works by emerging and established artists explore the idea of visual storytelling. Library tables and chairs are included in the exhibit to allow visitors to read and experience comic books. On display at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center, 608 New York Ave., Sheboygan. The gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free. Ends Feb. 16.

Joseph Yoakum: Unfolding Landscapes — Yoakum is a self-taught artist who practices “spiritual unfoldment” drawing, wherein he starts pictures without knowing when and how he will complete them.
