Warmth of color in Jeff Barnhart’s Mexican landscapes

CHAMBERSBURG Bright, colorful images of the bright, colorful cultures of Mexico adorn the lobby walls in Chambersburg Hospital, 112 N. Seventh St., through June 30.

Chambersburg artist Jeff Barnhart, who has traveled to various Mexican towns for the past six or seven winters, shares his perspectives of warm scenes and friendly people as the hospital’s featured Artist of the Month.

Barnhart’s name appears frequently in the resumes and bios of other area artists who have studied under his tutelage.

He seemed stumped when asked what credentials it required to become a private art instructor.
