An artist, with more than 700 paintings hanging in his Yiewsley home, is to put some of his works on display at a pop-up shop.
Steve Brooks, 56, will unveil The Joy of Painting on Tuesday (June 30).
He said: “The works in the shop are all my own, over the last 23 years, as a selection of everything I’ve done. But they’re predominantly more recent, around the last nine to 10 years.”
Mr Brooks left his “pressurised” job in the city, as head of art at an agency, and started painting.
“My life has been totally devoted to art for a long time, it’s fantastic!” he told getwestlondon. “The only people who usually see or get my paintings are my friends, I let them have them for free.
“I have 700 paintings at mine at another 200 at my mum’s! I’m always worried, God forbid, what if the place would burn down!
